Peru will participate in Espacio Food Service 2023, one of the most important food industry trade fairs in South America, from September 26 to 28. For this version, the neighboring country has prepared a sample of attractive and innovative technologies for the food industry, restaurants and the coffee sector.
The stand, whose inauguration will take place this Tuesday, September 26, will be attended by the new Ambassador of Peru, Mrs. Silvia Alfaro, who will await visitors with a tasting of coffee of origin from different Peruvian regions, with its unique flavors and aromas, which have led this beverage to be recognized worldwide for its quality.
Equipment with Peruvian technology
Among the 2023 novelties, attendees at the Peru stand will be able to see a robotic arm from packaging solution specialists Crenteria. The robot is capable of wrapping various types of packages and can be seen in action, as an example of the wide range of technological solutions for the industry.
Hi-Lite, meanwhile, will present an eco-friendly version of an oven for preparing grilled chicken, with a distribution that prevents the spillage of fats and oils, thus avoiding pollution and unnecessary smoke. In addition, a premium version of the Chinese box, the renowned grill used in delicious typical preparations, will be exhibited, which can now be purchased by local restaurants and fans of Peruvian food.
For coffee growers, the Peruvian machinery company IMSA will exhibit a roaster for green coffee that achieves between 13 and 20 minutes roasting per batch of coffee. This machine has an automatic cooling tray and a centrifugal fan for the rapid cooling of the roasted coffee, among other characteristics that make it a great solution to enjoy the intense flavor of coffee.
Packaging Sales Office
On the occasion of the fair, the Peruvian Export and Tourism Promotion Commission (PROMPERÚ) has also coordinated the presence of a delegation of six Peruvian packaging manufacturers: Atlantic, CIPSA, Emusa, Lux, Matritech and Polybags to explore the local market.
During their stay, they will hold several meetings with local businessmen to present their solutions, including: fiberboard containers, doypacks, packaging for coffee, candies, chocolates, labels, polypropylene bags, thermoformed containers, among others.
Peru plays a key role as a supplier in the packaging and equipment sectors in Latin America, mainly due to the technification of its products and strategic geographical position. Individuals and companies interested in learning more about Peru's great offer can do so through PROMPERÚ's Commercial Office in Chile.
Those interested may visit PROMPERÚ's stand in Espacio Food Service in Pavilion A, stands A55, A56 and A57, during the three days of the fair.
